I bought this for my New Year's party and it was a hit. I used strawberries and angel food cake. Kids and adults loved it. I had no problems whatsoever. It is a little time consuming to melt the chocolate in the microwave and then the cleanup which must be done immediately after use or the chocolate will harden. The manual says to add vegetable oil to the chocolate if not using Sephora brand but I did not find this was the case. I bought my chocolate at BednBath and it was just fine.
